Jeppiaar University is a State Private University established in 2022 under the Tamil Nadu State Private Universities Act, 2019, building upon more than two and half decades legacy of the Jeppiaar Educational Trust. The University functions under the visionary leadership of Dr. Regeena J. Murali, Chancellor and Founder, whose commitment to academic excellence and innovation continues to shape the institution’s growth and global outlook.
Jeppiaar University is an integral component of Jeppiaar Educity, a comprehensive academic ecosystem envisioned by Dr. Regeena J. Murali to create a seamless continuum of education from school to higher education. The Educity also includes Jeppiaar Engineering College, Jeppiaar Arts and Science College, Jeppiaar CBSE School, and Jeppiaar Matriculation School, collectively fostering an integrated environment of learning, innovation, and academic progression.

Jeppiaar University is an integral component of Jeppiaar Educity, a comprehensive academic ecosystem envisioned by Dr. Regeena J. Murali to create a seamless continuum of education from school to higher education. The Educity also includes Jeppiaar Engineering College, Jeppiaar Arts and Science College, Jeppiaar CBSE School, and Jeppiaar Matriculation School, collectively fostering an integrated environment of learning, innovation, and academic progression.

The campus features a 3,000-seater auditorium and six fully equipped seminar halls with advanced audiovisual facilities, enabling the organization of academic conferences, seminars, and scholarly engagements at national and international levels. The campus landscape is enhanced by lush greenery and well-maintained gardens, providing a serene and environmentally sustainable setting conducive to intellectual growth and academic pursuits. The campus encourages the student innovation and research with dedicated sophisticated platforms, namely, “Jeppiaar Incubation Center” and “ Jeppiaar Research and Development Organization”.
Jeppiaar University places strong emphasis on sports and physical excellence. The campus hosts world-class sports infrastructure, including professionally maintained turfs and athletic facilities, complemented by sports scholarships amounting to nearly ₹1 crore annually for meritorious athletes. This commitment has enabled the University to develop a strong sporting culture and attract talented sportspersons from across the region.
The University comprises four dynamic academic schools, each designed to foster interdisciplinary learning and research, namely, School of Engineering and Technology (SET), School of Arts, Humanities and Management (SAHM), School of Sciences and Allied Health Sciences (SSAHS) and School of Physical Education and Sports Sciences (SPESS)
Across these schools, Jeppiaar University offers more than 25 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, designed with a strong emphasis on industry relevance, emerging technologies, and interdisciplinary learning. The University offers Ph.D programmes those are supported by a growing research ecosystem that encourages scholars to undertake innovative and future-oriented research addressing global challenges.
